TNT Incremental Currencies Guide
Cash, Tree Crystals, Tickets, and Diamonds鈥攚hat each currency does, how to earn it, and when to spend it.
Every incremental game is secretly a currency game. In TNT Incremental, Cash powers minute-to-minute upgrades, Tree Crystals fund permanent tree investments, Tickets roll runes, and Diamonds bridge shop purchases and conversions. Rebirth and Ascension add reset currencies鈥攑rogress bars that gate the deepest multipliers. Islands change earning rates but not the fundamental roles. This page explains each currency's job, best sources, and spending order across the full route.
Pair this reference with the diamonds and tickets guide for farming detail, the runes page for Ticket sinks, and the walkthrough hub for when each currency matters most chronologically.
Currency Reference Table
| Type | Currency | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Primary | Cash | Earned by detonating TNT; buys upgrades and island gates. |
| Permanent | Tree Crystals | Fund upgrade tree nodes that persist across rebirths. |
| Premium | Tickets | Roll runes; scarce鈥攑rioritize codes and milestones. |
| Premium | Diamonds | Shop currency; often converts to Tickets or bundles. |
| Reset | Rebirth progress | Not spendable but gates rebirth thresholds and multipliers. |
| Reset | Ascension progress | Late-game threshold currency for deepest reset layer. |
Cash: The Daily Driver
Detonate TNT blocks to earn Cash. Reinvest immediately into upgrades ranked on the upgrade tier list鈥攂last power early, multipliers mid-run, automation when affordable. Cash also pays island gates from the islands map. Idle Cash earns nothing; incremental games reward constant reinvestment.
Rebirth resets most Cash and upgrades but grants permanent multipliers that make the next Cash loop faster. Compare reset value with the rebirth guide before sacrificing a large Cash stockpile unnecessarily.
Tree Crystals: Permanent Account Value
Tree Crystals purchase nodes in the upgrade tree鈥攁 parallel progression track that emphasizes long-term power. Prioritize global enhancements that boost many stats over narrow nodes unless ascension or a specific island demands specialization. Crystals typically persist across rebirths, making them higher leverage than another hour of Cash grinding once you earn them regularly鈥攗sually after multiple rebirths in the islands walkthrough.
Tickets: Rune Roll Fuel
Tickets are spent at the rune roll interface. They are scarce relative to Cash, which makes code redemption essential鈥擧ellooo, FreeTickets, YouFoundMe, SorryForDelay, and MiningUpdate all grant Tickets. Spend Tickets during potion-boosted sessions with targets from the runes tier list, not on impulse rolls after every gate.
Diamonds: Flexible Premium Currency
Diamonds arrive from codes鈥擲uperPickaxees, SecretCode123, and others grant one Diamond each鈥攁nd from milestones or shop bundles depending on patch content. Convert or spend toward Tickets when runes fix your wall, or toward shop value that beats equivalent Cash grinding per the diamonds guide. Avoid diamond sinks with no route value during ascension prep in the ascension walkthrough.
Reset Currencies: Rebirth and Ascension
Rebirth and Ascension are not wallets you spend at a shop鈥攖hey are progression gates whose thresholds you meet through Cash, upgrades, and sometimes dedicated stats or runes. Treat them as currencies because they dictate when you sacrifice current progress for permanent layers. Ascension thresholds exceed rebirth and should be approached rarely with checklist discipline from the late game build.
Spending Priority by Stage
Early game: Cash into upgrades, codes into Tickets saved for first roll session, potions banked per the potions tier list. Mid game: Cash plus Tickets plus runes for island walls. Late game: Tree Crystals plus ascension prep plus selective Diamond conversion. When unsure which currency is blocking you, return to the items hub and identify whether the wall is income (Cash), permanence (crystals), precision (Tickets), or reset timing (rebirth/ascension).
